Angus, who is 30-years-old and hails from from the Western Isles, is ideally looking for a two-bedroom, or three-bedroom house/flat.
The full-time post is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund for the next three years.
A formal announcement about his appointment will be made in the coming weeks. Angus has provided some details below in Gaelic and English:
Halo a’ chàirdean,
Tha mi a’ toiseachadh dreuchd ùr le Urras an Taobh Sear aig toiseach an t-Iuchar agus tha beagan duilicheadas air a bhi agam, gu an ìre seo, àite fuireach a’ lorg.
Ma tha fios aig duine sam bith mu dheidhinn cothrom seòmar no àite fhaighinn ri màl airson uine ghoirid neo nas fhàide, bi mi gu taingeil airson do chuideachadh.
Bitheadh àite sam bith air an Eilean cuideachail dhomh, ach faisg air Phort Rìgh neo gu tuath as freagarraiche.
Le gach deagh dhùrachd,
I will be starting work with the Staffin Community Trust in the new post of Programme Manager for Ceumannan II at the beginning of July and am yet to find a place to stay.
I am open to both short and longer-term solutions and suggestions for a rental property or room and would be very grateful if members of the Trust would ask around and let me know if any become available.
I am looking for anything in the area, or within reasonable commuting distance, and open to all suggestions. I have tried all the usual mix of estate agents, personal contacts and Facebook/Gumtree without success, as of yet.
Please get in touch via email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 07715 353100
