Funding pot for youth orientated arts schemes flagged up
FUNDING pots which young individuals, groups, schools and youth/arts organisation based in Skye can bid into for arts schemes have been highlighted.

- Creative in Your Community. This is administered through the individuals groups, schools and youth/arts organisations… Open to: Young people aged 12-25, living anywhere in the Highlands. For: New cross art form projects, to be planned and run by the young people. Aim: To encourage young people to take initiative and ownership over a project and become more confident in form filling and collaborative working. Amount: Individuals £500, Groups £1000. - #Goseeshare This is administered through the Highland Youth Arts Hub. Open to: Young people aged 12-25, individuals and groups, & schools/arts organisations anywhere in the Highlands. For: Ticket and travel costs to creative activity i.e. to see a show, exhibition, performance. Aim: To enable more young people to access creative activity, both in Highlands and nationally. Amount: Flexible in relation to activity/need for individuals and groups of young people, schools/arts organisations can receive max. £400 for cross-curricular/cross-art form visits
- Nourishing talent This is administered through Young Scot and is funded through Time to Shine, Creative Scotland’s National Youth Arts Strategy. Open to: Young people aged 14-20, individuals and groups, living anywhere in Scotland. For: A variety of things i.e. recording a demo, putting on an exhibition etc. Aim: To enable more young people to progress and excel within the arts
Amount: £200 for individuals, £750 for groups
