Abs-fantastic 2016 for Staffin Gym as first birthday looms!

STAFFIN Gym is celebrating a special milestone next month – its first birthday – and is stepping up its promotional efforts to attract locals and holidaymakers to get a sweat on.

The gym has become the 13th business to join the growing online directory aimed at showcasing the wide range of businesses in Staffin following a highly successful 12 months.

One in 10 Staffin residents are now card-carrying members at the gym, which was officially named Aurora Fitness by local school pupils, and is based upstairs at Staffin Hall. In 2017, the gym intends to promote its presence more heavily to guests staying at Staffin B&Bs and self-catering properties.

The gym celebrates its one-year anniversary in January and the leisure facility has become a popular and much appreciated asset for the community with top of the range of equipment, a varied programme of classes which are well attended and enthusiastic staff. Everybody is welcome, there is a friendly atmosphere and music is played to motivate everybody and drown out the aches and pains!
